As reinforcement for our Changemaker Shop Basel, we are looking for immediately a:
Sales Consultant 50-60%
Changemaker AG is an exciting retail company based in Zurich with nine stores in Switzerland and an online shop. All products from Changemaker meet high standards of sustainability and fairness. At the same time, they are of selected aesthetics and the best quality. The heart of all these products is their stories. Stories of small farmers in the most remote regions of the world and of people who still practice old craftsmanship in the time of globalization.
Your Tasks:
- Authentic sales advice and customer care
- Acquisition of new customers and building customer relationships
- Representation of our company with a natural and open manner
- Advising customers about our products and their sustainable benefits
- Support in product presentation and store design
- Participation in sales promotions and campaigns
Your Profile:
- Passion for fair trade, environment, and social issues
- Solid training and experience in retail and/or sales
- Fluent German and English skills (other languages are an advantage)
- Sensitivity and intuition in dealing with people
- High self-motivation and readiness to work
- Flexibility and willingness to work on holidays and over Christmas
