Medical Secretary for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery
Responsibilities
Organisation, coordination, and preparation of consultations
Welcoming our patients at reception
Ordering missing X-rays and files for patients to be seen
Typing consultation, discharge, operation, and insurance reports from dictation and entering data into the system
Handling incoming mail and telephone enquiries
Close collaboration with the medical team and point of contact for their patients
Holiday and sick leave cover within the secretarial team
Profile
Training as a medical practice assistant and/or additional training as a hospital and medical secretary with professional experience in a comparable position
Enjoyment of writing and confident use of medical terminology
Service-oriented and enjoyment of direct patient contact
Trustworthy, independent, resilient, and communicative personality
Flexible and team-oriented working style
Very good and confident German language skills; knowledge of English, Italian, or French is an advantage
