We offer training places for the training to become a Certified Nursing Specialist HF

Nursing specialists HF work in a variety of institutions in the health and social sector and are responsible for the independent execution of the nursing process.

For nursing specialists HF at the Cantonal Health Centre Appenzell, contact with the residents is an important basis of everyday work. The nurses take on professional and leadership responsibilities in cooperation with various professional groups. In addition, they deal with tasks such as prevention, quality assurance, and the promotion of professional competence.

Requirements
Completed at least 3-year vocational training, specialised secondary school certificate, vocational, specialised, or grammar school maturity certificate or equivalent qualification

Training options
6 semesters full-time, regular training
4 semesters full-time, shortened training for FaGe
8 semesters part-time (80%) for career changers
6 semesters part-time (80%) shortened training for FaGe
