Business Development Manager Embedded Solutions (m/f/d)
As a Business Development Manager, you are the primary growth driver in new business – through new customers, new opportunities, applications, and business areas in the field of Embedded Solutions and generally E2MS. You rely on an existing, actively usable network in the E2MS/Embedded environment, with which you open doors to target customers, decision-makers, and technology partners and unlock new market potentials.
Your tasks
- Active acquisition of new customers in defined target markets as well as identification and development of business opportunities
- Development and conclusion of new customer initial projects with orderly handover to account management
- Representation of Gesys at target customers, trade fairs, specialist events, and industry committees – you put a "face" to new topics and markets
- Building and maintaining a new business pipeline with a focus on strategic opportunities and flagship projects
- Market and competitor observation as well as marketing of relevant differentiation topics
- Technical leadership of new subject areas in the start-up phase until they are supported by the organisation
- Bringing in, utilising, and expanding your network in the E2MS/Embedded environment as a lever for new business
Your qualities
- Existing, usable network in the field of Embedded Solutions, EMS/E2MS or industrial automation – with contacts to decision-makers, multipliers, and technology partners
- Several years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or a market-oriented technical marketing function, ideally in the Embedded/E2MS environment
- Technical basic training (e.g. electronics technician, computer scientist TS/FH, system technician, engineer); business or sales-oriented further training is an advantage
- Good understanding of embedded systems, HMI, controls, connectivity, IIoT, and system integration
- Strong market sense, entrepreneurial thinking, and confident, communicative appearance at all levels
