At Oro de Cacao in Freienbach, we process cocoa using an innovative production method. Our modern facilities and associated technical infrastructure require forward-looking, reliable maintenance. For this, we are looking for a committed individual who takes responsibility and manages our technology holistically.

What you will do with us

You ensure that our production facilities and operating media remain safe and available – from preventive maintenance to sustainable fault rectification.

• Ensuring smooth and safe operation of our production facilities
• Planning, execution, and monitoring of preventive maintenance as well as professional repairs on equipment, installations, and technical infrastructure
• Systematic fault analysis, sustainable troubleshooting, and continuous optimisation of equipment, processes, and workflows
• Planning, coordination, and implementation of technical projects up to commissioning
• Ensuring the supply of water, electricity, compressed air, as well as cooling and heating
• Operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the wastewater system as well as technical support of buildings and outdoor facilities including winter services when required
• Coordination and supervision of external service providers as well as management of the spare parts warehouse
• Use of the maintenance programme, comprehensive documentation of work, and updating of technical documents
• Compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements as well as responsibility for the fire alarm system
• Close cooperation with production and quality assurance; professional instruction of employees and occasional on-call duties

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a practical technical all-rounder who can work independently and keep an overview of equipment, operating resources, and maintenance tasks.

Ideally, you bring:

• Completed technical or craft training, e.g. in mechanics, maintenance, plant or building technology
• Experience in the maintenance of production facilities and technical infrastructure
• Good technical understanding, systematic fault finding, and enthusiasm for improvements
• Independent, structured, reliable working style and strong safety awareness
• Pragmatic hands-on mentality, team spirit, and sense of responsibility
• Very good German skills; English is an advantage
• Experience in the food industry or hygienically sensitive production environments is an advantage
• Willingness for on-call duties
