- Ability to work physically and flexibly, including weekends.

About the job
The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of the City of Winterthur in the five retirement homes as well as with Spitex.We offer a reliable and sociable person the opportunity to gain initial experience in the kitchen area in a fixed-term position of 6 to 12 months from 1 October 2026, at the Brühlgut Retirement Home.
Your Tasks
- Ensuring the cleaning of dishes and furniture
- Assisting with the daily kitchen cleaning
- Supporting the kitchen in preparing vegetables
- Helping with the plating of meals
Your Profile
- Desire to gain first experiences in the tasks of a catering operation
and/or in the Swiss working environment - Interest in getting to know a versatile craft
- Willingness to work physically
- Flexibility to work in different shifts
- Willingness to work weekend shifts
- Understanding of the Swiss dialect and possessing oral German skills
