Desired profile

Lawyer’s diploma, licence or master’s degree in law and sufficient practical knowledge for the exercise of the function

Experience in the areas of the justice of the peace (cf. art. 58 LJ ) would be an advantage

Active citizenship at the cantonal level. Foreign nationals must hold a settlement permit and have been domiciled in the canton for at least five years. Candidates must not be subject to bankruptcy proceedings, nor have been criminally convicted for acts incompatible with the function

Fluency in French with knowledge of German
