The Bülach church community is an open and progressive congregation with a wide range of services and events. As the future post holder, you will ensure, together with your team of four to five people, the smooth, trouble-free, and safe operation of all church properties.
Your Tasks
- Professional and personnel management of the caretaking and sexton team as well as the cleaning staff
- Ensuring deployment and resource planning
- Coordinative overall responsibility for events and rentals
- Handling sensitive enquiries and ensuring professional operations
- Operational participation depending on suitability in the caretaking and sexton team
- Trainer for apprentices and interns in the field of facility maintenance
- Responsibility for area budget planning, tendering, as well as coordination and supervision of third-party companies
- Continuous optimisation of processes and tools in the area of facility management
- Close cooperation with administration, church council, and external partners
Your Profile
- Technical basic training with appropriate further education as a caretaker or in facility management
- Knowledge of occupational safety, environmental protection, and fire safety
- Leadership experience as well as a reliable and independent working style
- Experience in event scheduling and room allocation
- Willingness to work regular evening, weekend, and on-call duties
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as good Office application skills
