We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer specializing in DevOps to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our software development infrastructure, tools, and processes. The candidate should have a strong background in software development, automation, and cloud technologies (especially Azure).
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, implement, and maintain our software development infrastructure, tools, and processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of new features and releases for the products on our platform.
• Automate software deployment, testing, and monitoring processes for the respective environments.
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools for automation of software development tasks (CI/CD, infrastructure-as-a-code).
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure and services that are part of our products’ landscape.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software development infrastructure and tools.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing.
• Collaborate with CCH architects across different IT (DTPS) teams and with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth DevOps operations in cross functional initiatives.
• Collaborate with development, and work with operations teams to integrate quality gates into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Define and enforce criteria for code quality, security, performance, and compliance.
• Provide training and support to development teams on quality gate tools and best practices.
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
• Hands-on experience with Azure ecosystem from management and deployment perspective
• Proficiency working with Data Engineering environments in Azure (i.e. Databricks, Azure Data Factory etc.)
• Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible etc.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g. Git), and automated deployment tools
• Strong hands-on understanding of DevSecOps concepts and tools. Expertise in practical implementation of DevSecOps (Azure DevOps toolkit and automated testing capabilities)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development and DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and tools.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of Agile methodology and SAFe Agile is appreciated
• Azure certification, such as Azure Data Engineer or DevOps Engineer, is a plus.
• Proficiency with quality gate tools such as SonarCloud, Jenkins, or similar.
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
