The city of Lenzburg, with its over 11,000 residents, stands out with its attractive old town, vibrant traditions, and as a progressive cultural and educational center with a regional impact. The Regional Police Lenzburg places the service to the population at the center of its activities. Our approximately 40 employees ensure local safety in 24 municipalities with around 75,000 residents. For the two training courses LG 26-1 starting in April 2026 and LG 26-2 starting in October 2026, we are looking for police trainees (100 %). What you bring with you
- You have completed initial training (vocational training EFZ, Matura, university degree), possess a category B driver's license, and have successfully passed the police requirements test (PAP).
- We are looking for a team-oriented personality with a reliable, responsible, and solution-oriented work style.
- You treat others with respect and empathy, communicate proactively, and know how to assert yourself when necessary.
- You appreciate a varied daily routine with irregular working hours.
We offer you a paid training to become a police officer with a federal certificate. In the first year, you will complete the theory-based basic training at the inter-cantonal police school in Hitzkirch LU, starting in April or October 2026. In the second year of training, you will undergo a structured, extended internship with diverse assignments in the areas of regulatory, security, and traffic police. You can expect a collaboration on equal footing and a dedicated team that supports you in both your professional and personal development.
