To complement our team, we are seeking, from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement, a construction-technical expert, economically minded, strong communicator, and team-oriented leader as Head of Infrastructure and Municipal Construction Projects (80%).
You will be responsible as the interface between the operational and strategic levels for the following areas of responsibility:
- Municipal infrastructure and construction projects in civil and structural engineering (water, wastewater, roads, watercourses, environment, etc.) including client representation
- Operational and structural maintenance of municipal properties, premises, and facilities
- Collaboration with various organisations and service providers
- Contact person for internal and external stakeholders
- Preparation of decision-making bases for matters of the municipal council
- Personnel management of the building, works, and winter services as well as water supply
Your profile:
- You have experience as a construction professional with higher education or further training (architecture, construction management, site manager, structural draughtsman, real estate trustee, or similar) and possibly leadership experience.
- You possess good knowledge of project management
- You have knowledge of construction, road, and water law regulations.
- You understand how to engage in the tension field of various stakeholders, administration, and politics and advocate for the concerns of the municipality of Udligenswil with persistence, resilience, and negotiation skills.
- You maintain an overview even in turbulent times and have a healthy assertiveness.
- You are service-oriented and appreciate an independent working style.
- You have very good IT skills (Microsoft Office, CMI, GANTTPRO).
- Fluent German in spoken and written form completes your profile.
