Job Description
- Independent customs clearance of import, export, and transit processes with a focus on food products
- Preparation, review, and submission of all relevant customs and accompanying documents
- Ensuring correct and timely data entry in the systems used
- Compliance with current Swiss customs regulations and relevant compliance requirements
- Close cooperation with customers, authorities, freight forwarding, and logistics partners
- Support with operational queries and resolution of customs and process challenges
- Ensuring defined service and quality indicators
Profile
- Several years of professional experience in Swiss customs
- Sound knowledge of Swiss customs regulations and customs processes
- Experience in customs clearance of imports, ideally in the food sector
- High accuracy and strong administrative skills
- Structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style
- Resilience and flexibility in a dynamic environment
- Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Customs-specific further training or certifications are an advantage
