About the job
Why?
The surveying of the municipality of Roggwil in the western part of the agricultural zone and the forest area is not compatible with today’s measurement methods (GPS). The survey is over 100 years old and is therefore only provisionally recognised by the federal government.
The municipal council of Roggwil has awarded the revision of boundary markings and initial survey (re-survey) Roggwil Lot 4 to the surveying office Infragon Ingenieure AG in Langenthal.
The perimeter of the surveying work includes the agricultural zone along the cantonal border and the forest area (see plan attachment perimeter plan)
What will be done?
The re-survey will be carried out using a simplified procedure. This means that only the boundary points within a radius of 50 m around buildings will be staked out and certified. All other points will only be located and measured if present. In addition to processing the boundary points, all buildings will be newly surveyed.
(see plan attachment showing 50m radius)
How am I affected?
The fieldwork will commence in December 2024 and will continue until approximately spring 2026. Landowners are requested to allow access to the boundary markers and to uncover any covered boundary markers. Unfortunately, it is unavoidable that the surveying personnel will need to enter private properties several times to determine and record the current boundaries and buildings.
Public display?
With a public display (approx. spring 2027) and approval by the federal and cantonal authorities, the old provisional surveying records will be replaced by the new data. All landowners will be informed in good time about the public display.
