The position is attached to the Operations Department. This department's mission is to ensure the stewardship and logistics necessary for the smooth running of all HUG services, in terms of catering, cleaning and disinfection of premises, and linen hygiene. It also manages the medical device reprocessing service, the biomedical and equipment service, as well as Cressy-Santé. More than 1,300 professionals carry out their duties daily with constant attention to quality, a sense of service, and environmental responsibility.
Within the medical device reprocessing service, composed of about 90 people, under the responsibility of the management team, your mission is to ensure the reprocessing of medical devices as a medical device technologist.
Job Description
As a stock and production manager, you receive customer orders and document statistical needs regarding their developments, ensure data entry for billing, and guarantee the link with the production line (stock output/supply).
You manage the production line of sets for care services and handle supply and stock requests through management software tools.
You monitor stock levels and anticipate needs.
You manage the service's orders according to requirements.
You control the reception of raw materials, the stock of finished products, and the organisation of goods.
You handle customer complaints and production quality defects. You ensure operational liaison with customers and support services.
As part of the service's certification processes, you collaborate with the quality assurance manager.
You work with staff, operational teams, support services, and suppliers.
If necessary, you cover the distribution post.
Qualifications
You hold a Federal VET Diploma in logistics or equivalent, as well as proven skills in using management software tools (Cegid, Microsoft). You have good knowledge of the French language and strong writing skills.
Several years of confirmed experience in stock management and client/supplier or client/service provider relations, as well as knowledge of the hospital environment and/or sterilisation, would be an asset.
Your sense of service, rigour, and professional conscience are your major strengths and allow you to prioritise and organise your activities.
Your interpersonal skills and sense of service enable you to work and collaborate easily within a multidisciplinary team.
Flexible and organised, you know how to adapt to unforeseen events and workload variations.
Additional Information
This position requires irregular hours, as the medical device reprocessing service operates 24/7, 365 days a year.
The stock and logistics manager activity takes place at the Cluse-Roseraie and Vernier sites throughout the deployment period of the service's activities, until 2027.
