Main tasks
- Professional and personnel management of the group as well as deputising for the department head
- Responsibility for risk-oriented and forward-looking supervision of UBS Switzerland AG and UBS Group Governance
- Definition of supervisory priorities and audit strategy focusing on Personnel & Corporate Banking, Global Wealth Management as well as their risk and governance frameworks
- FINMA lead for the assessment of supervisory findings and the determination of necessary supervisory measures
- Responsibility for central supervisory processes and products of the UBS Group
- Maintenance and further development of relationships with national and international stakeholders
Profile
- University degree in economics or law, preferably with a financial economics supplement
- At least 10 years of professional experience in the banking sector, auditing firms or supervisory authorities, preferably related to major banks. Solid expertise in Wealth Management and Retail Banking as well as ideally international experience
- Several years of leadership experience, ideally in managing recognised specialists
- Strong organisational and analytical skills as well as high quality standards for own work, even under time pressure and with great independence
- Convincing and professional manner in dialogue with supervised entities, even in controversial discussions, as well as proven internal stakeholder management
- Excellent knowledge of German (C2) and very good English skills (C1), French skills are an advantage
