In this varied job

• you learn how newspapers, magazines and other printed products are further processed and prepared for delivery
• you work with modern production and finishing equipment and set it up for various work steps
• you cut, fold, staple and bundle printed products and, if necessary, equip them with inserts
• you monitor and control electronically operated production machines and ensure a smooth process
• you continuously check the quality, identify faults and help to fix them
• you work as part of a team and learn how technology, precision and speed interact in production
• you ensure that machines are maintained, clean and ready for use at all times

You will succeed here if

• you have completed compulsory schooling
• you enjoy technology, machines and practical work
• you are skilled with your hands and like working manually
• you can express yourself confidently in German, both orally and in writing
• you work carefully, reliably and precisely
• you enjoy working in a team, think along and lend a hand
• you are physically fit, remain flexible and are eager to learn something new every day
• you are able to commute to school in Bern
