Clerk Naturalisation 80%The Naturalisation Department is a specialised division of the municipal office of the Canton of Zurich.
We advise foreign nationals on Swiss citizenship and process applications for ordinary as well as facilitated naturalisation.
Digitalisation in the Canton of Zurich is progressing. We continuously develop our already digitalised naturalisation procedure and optimise processes consistently. Would you like to actively help shape this development? Then we look forward to meeting you!

Clerk Naturalisation (80%)
Tasks
- You independently process applications for ordinary and facilitated naturalisation.
- You maintain telephone and written communication with applicants as well as with authorities and specialist offices at federal, cantonal and municipal levels.
- You contribute to the further development of our digitalised naturalisation procedure.
- You participate in projects and initiatives to optimise processes and services.
- You make an important contribution to an efficient and lawful naturalisation procedure.
Profile
- You enjoy working in a structured and careful manner and appreciate clearly defined processes.
- You complete repetitive tasks with high quality, perseverance and accuracy.
- You view changes and ongoing developments as opportunities and maintain an overview even in a dynamic environment.
- Integrity, discretion and a sense of responsibility are a matter of course for you.
- You work independently but also enjoy contributing to the team.
- You communicate appropriately for the audience, are service-oriented and treat people with openness and respect.
- A completed commercial apprenticeship is required; professional experience in public administration is desirable.
