IT System Administrator / System Engineer (m/f/x)

This is how you create added value:

• Support of the entire server and network infrastructure

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of all workplace devices and associated components

• Support of telephone systems and telephony systems as well as mobile devices and mobile contracts

• Definition, implementation, and ensuring compliance with IT security and archiving

• Development, implementation, and ensuring compliance with IT standards (hardware and software)

• Responsible for optimal (price/performance) IT-specific procurement management

• Coordination and participation in internal IT projects

• Active influence on the strategy development and implementation of IT

• Analyze and resolve errors and operational disruptions (2nd-level IT support)

• Ensure proper licensing of all used components

• Planning and coordination of service providers

For optimal fulfillment of the tasks, you need the following professional qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist or another vocational training with corresponding further education in the IT field (specializing in network and system technology)

• Specialized certifications are an advantage (Microsoft, VMware, ITIL, etc.)

• Several years of experience with client/server and virtualization environments (VMWare) in an SME

• Fluent in German, good English skills, French skills are an advantage

• Technical skills:

  • Solid and practical knowledge of client operating systems Windows 11, server operating systems 2016-2025

  • Practical knowledge in the areas of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, SQL Server, Terminal Services, switches, firewall, backup systems

  • MS Cloud Services (Office 365, Azure)

  • Software distribution and packaging

  • Linux knowledge is an advantage

  • Scripting languages (PowerShell, CMD, command line tools)
