DB Fahrwegdienste GmbH is the specialist in construction site safety and vegetation maintenance along the entire rail network of Deutsche Bahn. We secure 100,000 track construction sites of all kinds annually with the latest technology and support railway projects with the delivery and removal of materials. Nationwide, seven branches with 36 regional service areas manage the maintenance of around 60,000 track kilometres.

We are looking for you as a Vegetation Caretaker (m/f/d) for DB Fahrwegdienste GmbH at the locations Bad Reichenhall, Freilassing, or Traunstein as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

• You independently and reliably carry out vegetation maintenance along our rail network – actively ensuring that trains can run safely and reliably
• This includes handling professional equipment such as chainsaws, brushcutters, mulching and specialised technology, as well as safely felling trees and properly removing cuttings
• You independently rectify quality defects and act in the interest of safety
• With your trained eye, you immediately recognise potential hazards in the vegetation and take action where it really matters

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed vocational training as a forester, landscape gardener, gardener in garden and landscape construction, or possess comparable professional experience in the vegetation sector
• You already have a chainsaw certificate or are willing to obtain one with us
• For daily travel to construction sites and transport of our equipment, you ideally have a valid category B driving licence and your own vehicle
• You want to develop personally and professionally with us so that you can reliably perform your responsible tasks in the long term
