Construction Manager Building Construction (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the independent construction management of demanding new build and refurbishment projects in building construction. You coordinate contractors and specialist planners, control construction processes and are responsible for deadlines, costs and execution quality. In addition to on-site construction management, you take on tasks in the areas of tendering, awarding, contracts and construction accounting. You accompany the projects from execution through acceptance to the completion of warranty work.
Responsibilities:
Independent construction management of demanding new build and refurbishment projects from execution to project completion
Coordination and leadership of contractors, specialist planners and other project participants on site
Planning, control and ongoing monitoring of construction processes and execution deadlines
Responsibility for quality, costs and deadlines as well as early detection and handling of deviations
Conducting tendering and awarding including offer comparison, award proposals and technical clarifications
Creation, review and management of contracts, amendments and contractor services
Management of construction accounting and cost control including invoice verification and ongoing cost forecasts
Leading and minute-taking of construction meetings as well as consistent follow-up of pending issues and decisions
Ensuring professional execution according to execution planning, SIA standards, contracts and quality requirements
Organisation and execution of acceptances, defect management and handovers including follow-up checks on defect rectification
Accompanying projects during the warranty phase and coordinating the necessary warranty work until completion
Qualifications:
Basic construction technical training with further education as certified construction manager, certified technician HF, architect FH/ETH or comparable qualification
Several years of construction management experience in Switzerland, preferably with demanding new build and refurbishment projects
Sound knowledge of tendering, awarding, contracts and construction accounting
Practical experience in controlling costs, deadlines, quality and construction processes
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards, building regulations and Swiss contractual bases
Confident handling of digital construction management, cost and project documentation systems
Very good German language skills spoken and written
