The IT of HRM Systems is constantly evolving. Complex products, grown infrastructures, and modern SaaS architectures bring exciting technical challenges. To specifically strengthen the DevOps area across all products, a new, small DevOps team is being established. This team will in future form the bridge between the product area, internal infrastructure, operational infrastructure, and the development area. This creates a versatile role with scope for design and technical responsibility. As part of an exclusive mandate, we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer.

Your challenge

• You support the product development teams across the three products UKA Solutions, CAREMA and UKA Connect on DevOps topics and manage the existing infrastructure.

• You ensure the stable operation of production and development environments at the infrastructure level.

• You analyse and resolve disruptions in close cooperation with the development teams, IT services and the external infrastructure provider.

• You optimise automation around builds, deployments, testing, monitoring and alerting.

• You advance technical concepts and create the basis for a stable, secure and low-maintenance infrastructure.

• You work with technologies and tools such as GitLab, OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, ELK, Grafana and Nagios.

• You take on cross-cutting topics such as managing licences and access rights for developers.

• You actively help develop a newly emerging DevOps team and contribute your ideas for long-term sustainable solutions.

Your qualities and talents

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a DevOps or DevOps-related environment

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or equivalent professional experience (you either come from software development and have developed towards DevOps or you bring an infrastructure background with a strong DevOps engineering understanding)

• Knowledge of several technologies that overlap with those at HRM is an advantage: OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, CI/CD, GitLab

• You enjoy shaping and contributing your ideas

• You feel comfortable in an environment where not everything is definitively defined yet and approach topics proactively, analytically and solution-oriented.

• You are fluent in German for negotiations
