Class and annual salary (including 13th month):
Clerk I

Tasks:
- contacts and correspondence with the parties involved in the proceedings
- preparation of reports
- legal research
- participation and minute-taking in hearings and trials
- drafting decisions and sentence projects
- taxation of fees for court-appointed lawyers
- participation with advisory vote in decision-making
- preliminary examination of documents according to art. 329 CPP
Requirements:
- lawyer’s licence, doctorate in Swiss law or master of law or licence in Swiss law
- excellent language skills in Italian (conversation and writing) and good knowledge of the other official languages
- ability to work independently and conduct legal research
- drafting skills
- preferential title: work experience in criminal law
- no ongoing enforcement proceedings justified and absence of asset deficiency certificates
- no registration in the criminal record
- Swiss citizenship
Special remarks:
- the position of judicial secretary I (class 11) may only be assigned to candidates holding complete academic qualifications: university licence, degree, consecutive master’s degree or university of applied sciences (Bachelor + Master 270/300 ECTS credits) and who have at least 15 years of professional experience in the required field
- the position of judicial secretary II (class 10) will be assigned to candidates holding only a bachelor’s degree or a short degree or to candidates with less than 15 years of professional experience in the required field and holding complete academic qualifications: university licence, degree, consecutive master’s degree or university of applied sciences (Bachelor + Master 270/300 ECTS credits)
- start date: 01.11.2026 or by agreement

Employment conditions:
- appointment or assignment: as provided by the Law on the organisation of State employees and teachers of 15 March 1995 (LORD) and the related Regulation. Any changes in law concerning salary and organisation are explicitly reserved
- working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment relationship), flexible or according to service needs
