Tasks
- Creation of new and maintenance of existing electronic circuits in the areas of control, signal processing and power conversion.
- Independent creation and maintenance of manufacturing documents for this (block and circuit diagrams, PCB layouts, mask sets, assembly and wiring plans, assembly and test descriptions)
- Execution of commissioning, system tests and measurements, creation of measurement and test documentation according to recognised technical/scientific standards
- Assistance with the mechanical integration of electronic and optoelectronic components
- Analysis, simulation and mathematical description of transient processes for the compliant design of EMC components
- Assistance in setting up production lines and training employees
Requirements
- Completed electrical engineering degree at Master level, Diplom-Ingenieur, ETH, TU, etc.
- At least three to four years of practical experience in circuit and layout design
- Current component, process, standards and technology knowledge (THT/SMT, RoHS, etc.)
- Knowledge of programming languages C/C++ for use in embedded systems
- Ability to familiarise oneself with interdisciplinary issues (mechanical engineering, physics/quantum electronics, etc.)
- Above-average comprehension; rapid grasp of complex contexts
- Knowledge of common engineering tools (MatLab/SimuLink, LabView, Spice simulation tools, MCU IDE, etc.)
- Knowledge in manufacturing, quality assurance and project administration
- Solid MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, VISIO; Project if possible)
- Efficient, precise and goal-oriented working method
Languages
German and English spoken and written, French desirable.
