About the job
We are a medically led specialist clinic for psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychosomatics with a total of 58 beds. The focused offer lies in the specialist areas of eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating disorder, obesity) / depression / anxiety disorders / burnout as well as psychotherapy for people of the 50+ generation.
For our Oase ward with a focus on anorexia/bulimia, we are looking for your cooperation from 1 July 2026 or by arrangement as
Eating Companion 40-50%
YOU WILL TAKE ON
- Educational support during meals (and snacks) for people with eating disorders
- Support in adhering to therapeutic eating agreements
- Motivation and emotional support of patients in dealing with challenging eating situations
- Creating a calm, safe atmosphere during meals
- (Experiential educational) care between meals (Me-Time) with own design possibilities (creative offers, games, etc.)
- Support in structuring the daily routine around meals
- Perceiving and passing on relevant observations to the treatment team
- Collaboration in the interdisciplinary team
YOU BRING WITH YOU
- Training as a social pedagogue, care specialist or comparable qualification
- Also suitable for peers with their own recovery experience in the field of eating disorders and corresponding stability
- Competences in dealing with mental illnesses
- High social competence as well as empathetic and appreciative interaction
- Ability to convey clear structures and boundaries
- Calmness, patience and confidence, even in challenging situations
- Good powers of observation and responsible action
