Job Description
In this position, you lead the field sales team and act as the central contact person for key accounts. You build and expand long-term customer relationships, ensure first-class consulting and high customer satisfaction, and consistently implement sales and framework agreements.
Your tasks
- Leadership, training, and promotion of the field sales team; regular customer visits and support in demanding customer situations
- Compliance with the budgeted sales and margin through department-specific measures
- Organization of customer events and creation of local advertising measures
- CRM data maintenance including visit reports and use of sales-supporting AI tools
- Definition of sales territories, customer assignment, target setting for field sales
- Coordination of new customers, coordination of conditions, and debtor controls
- Handling complaints and initiating corrective measures
- Analysis of market opportunities, development of national strategies, and technical collaboration with category management
- Negotiation and management of framework agreements as well as main contact for key accounts; coordination with other regions and CEO for national customers
- Delivery and tracking of KPIs and reporting to customers with framework contracts
Qualifications
- Technical or business education as well as additional training in sales (Federal Diploma Sales Manager or equivalent further education)
- At least 3 years of experience in a comparable position with leadership responsibility
- Strong customer orientation, analytical and conceptual skills
- Structured, independent working style; resilient, reliable, and responsible
- Very good communication and teamwork skills
- Confident handling of MS Office, APOS/Sales, and CRM Dynamics 365; knowledge of SAP FI/CO is an advantage.
- Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form
