The =mcminstitute is an internationally recognized research, training, and consulting center for media and communication management at the University of St.Gallen. Since 1998, we have been dealing with great foresight with the digital transformation and the resulting challenges for companies and society. The interdisciplinary research group led by Prof. Katarina Stanoevska-Slabeva focuses on management aspects of digital communication. The goal is to analyze the current state of development in digital communication management using mixed methods (qualitative methods such as case studies and various surveys) and to develop new interdisciplinary, innovative, data-driven, and holistic management approaches (e.g., through the application of analytics and AI) for use in digital communication. In addition to contributing to research, the results developed are intended to serve as input for teaching and executive education.
