About the job
The Arlesheim Clinic is an acute hospital with 90 inpatient beds in the fields of oncology, internal medicine, and psychiatry/psychosomatics, as well as an oncological day clinic with 24 beds. The outpatient primary care services include gynaecology, dermatology, general practice, cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, and pneumology. The emergency department is open around the clock. Medical diagnostics and therapy are based on the modern possibilities of scientific medicine. As the first anthroposophic clinic worldwide, the Arlesheim Clinic has more than 100 years of experience with the integrative concept of Anthroposophic Medicine.
We are looking for an immediate or agreed start for a
MPA 40-100%
for our Pfeffingerhof Outpatient Clinic with a focus on General Medicine
Job profile:
- Responsible for the (annual) planning and organisation of outpatient consultation and examination appointments in the field of general medicine
- Various administrative tasks (mail triage, post triage, administrative patient management including service recording, scanning, preparation of prescriptions and orders, etc.)
- Internal and external telephone management with patients, referrers, hospitals, etc.
- Co-design and further development of our processes in a continuously evolving outpatient clinic
- Reception of patients
- Assistance with minor surgical procedures
- Independent performance of ECGs, blood draws, infusions, injections, etc.
You bring with you:
- Completed training as an MPA with professional experience
- Proficiency in German; good English and French skills as well as additional language skills are an advantage
- Openness to Anthroposophy
- A structured, calm, efficient and independent working style as well as quick comprehension and the ability to prioritise
- A high sense of responsibility and quality awareness
- A reliable, thoughtful, friendly and straightforward as well as resilient personality who adapts easily to change and enjoys teamwork
