To strengthen our team, we are looking for a reliable and committed individual who, with expertise and a sense of responsibility, ensures the safe operation of our buildings and technical systems. Willingness to participate in on-call duty on a rotating basis completes your profile.

• Ensuring the safe operation and preservation of value of our buildings, systems, and facilities
• Responsibility for the operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and sanitary systems as well as high and low voltage systems according to internal responsibility
• Maintenance, inspection, and repair of technical systems and facilities
• Independent execution of repairs and technical improvements
• Coordination and supervision of external service providers
• Planning, organization, and documentation of technical work and projects
• Compliance with and implementation of safety and fire protection regulations

• Completed vocational training in a manual profession
• Further training as a caretaker with a federal certificate of competence is an advantage
• Good technical knowledge in building technology, ideally in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and/or sanitary areas
• Experience in the maintenance of technical systems is an advantage
• Confident handling of common MS Office programs
• Driver's license category B
• Independent, reliable working style and high service orientation
• Very good German skills in writing and speaking

The KZU, with its two in-house daycares, operates two nursing centers in Bassersdorf and Embrach as well as three nursing apartments in Nuerensdorf and Winkel. It primarily offers a home to elderly, care-dependent people and, in addition to various specialized services, a wide range of outpatient services. The KZU employs around 600 staff, including 75 apprentices and students in 17 different professional groups.
