The Peace Court primarily serves as the child and adult protection authority. It acts upon request or ex officio. After the procedure is completed, a decision is made whether a measure is to be ordered. The peace judge also has responsibilities in inheritance law and in the area of judicial restraining orders.

Your tasks
- Managing the judge’s agenda and scheduling appointments, contacts with external offices, including to obtain or forward information, arranging appointments, supporting the court clerks
- Taking minutes at court hearings, independently and dictated by the judge
- General correspondence, summons, opening and managing files (physical and digital dossiers)
- Issuing court decisions
- Telephone and general enquiries
- Archiving court files
Desired profile
- Federal VET diploma as a commercial employee or experience in this field
- Several years of professional experience
- Flexibility, sense of responsibility, discretion
- Excellent IT and office technology skills (MS Office)
- Pleasant manners and ability to work in a team
- Resilience
- Proficiency in French or German with very good knowledge of the other language (min B2)
