Short shifts of 3 hours from 07:00 to 10:00 and/or 16:00 to 19:00
You don’t just serve a meal. You give a moment that does good.
Our Stübli is a special place: Here residents who cannot visit our restaurant eat. In a small, homely community, they enjoy their meals – attentively accompanied, warmly cared for, and at their own pace.
To make the meal a pleasant part of the day, we are looking for you. A person with heart, a good sense for people, and joy in bringing a smile to others’ faces.
What makes your work special
With us, it’s not just about what is on the table. What matters is how our residents feel during the meal.
You create a calm, warm, and appreciative atmosphere in the Stübli. You notice when someone needs support, gradually learn their little preferences, and with your attentive manner ensure everyone feels welcome and well cared for.
Your tasks
- Prepare meals as well as simple hot and cold menu components
- Lovingly set tables and prepare the service area for meals
- Attentively accompany residents during meals and consider their individual needs
- Serve food and drinks professionally and with a friendly smile
- Ensure a pleasant, calm, and appreciative dining atmosphere
- Carefully clear and clean tables and service areas after meals
- Reliably adhere to hygiene and quality standards

You are a good fit if …
- you enjoy working with older people and treat them with respect, warmth, and genuine interest.
- an open, engaging personality and a touch of humour are among your strengths.
- attentive service and personal contact come naturally to you.
- you recognise individual needs and remain calm and confident even in lively situations.
- you communicate confidently with good spoken German skills (at least level B2) and understand Swiss German.
- you are willing to take on different shifts including weekends and public holidays.
Training or experience in gastronomy, community catering, care, or support of older people is an advantage. However, your attitude, reliability, and joy in working with people are much more important to us. Motivated career changers are also warmly welcome.
