The Foundation for Sociocultural Animation of Lausanne (FASL) is a private foundation of public utility subsidized by the City of Lausanne. In partnership with neighborhood associations, FASL manages 17 sociocultural animation venues and has more than 90 collaborators. Sociocultural Animator at 80% Missions
- Participate in the conceptualization and implementation of the Neighborhood House project, defining objectives and the program, with the House Council and the rest of the team.
- Share responsibility with colleagues for the animation of the venue and ensure its good local establishment.
- Promote the development of the neighborhood's associative life.
- Collaborate with the team to handle the administrative tasks of the Neighborhood House.
- Reference for the "children" sector.
- Hold a university degree in social work or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Experience in sociocultural animation.
- Experience and good ability to work with all audiences, interest in working with the "children" audience is an asset.
- Ability to work with a multicultural audience, sometimes in precarious situations, and strong interest in neighborhood work.
- Group management skills.
- Good knowledge of the Lausanne social system, strong interest in networking and associative environment.
- Skills in project conceptualization and management.
- Ability to demonstrate creativity, listening skills, and strong adaptability.
- Ability to perform regular light manual tasks (tables, chairs, furniture, etc.).
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
- Organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to supervise and support monitors, interns, and volunteers.
- Availability to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Good administrative and writing skills as well as mastery of social networks and common computer software.
