In our anesthesia department (Category B), 7000 anesthesias are performed annually; divided into pediatric and adult anesthesia in the areas of general surgery, traumatology, gynecology/obstetrics, orthopedics, urology, hand surgery, and ENT. Our regional anesthesia share is 25%. Our department conducts the postoperative pain service together with the Pain Nurse, is involved in patient care in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit, provides medical leadership for the emergency service, and participates in the emergency physician service of the region.

For the anesthesia department, we are looking for a

Assistant 100% - Anesthesia

Exciting challenges await you

• Activity primarily in the operating room as part of the anesthesia team
• Participation in daily reports as well as in training events
• Familiarization with various anesthesia techniques and monitoring methods with supervision by an anesthesia nurse and/or an anesthesia consultant
• Gaining practical experience in the field of anesthesiology (extent depends on the duration of employment)
• Insertion of peripheral venous cannulas
• Dosing of common anesthetics
• Handling sedated and anesthetized patients
• Ensuring and maintaining vital functions
• Learning and performing simple anesthesia techniques under supervision, including mask ventilation and airway management

• Advanced medical studies, at least in the 5th year / 9th semester
• Good German language skills, both spoken and written
