Project Staff Research and Development Digital Construction (60-100%)

Your tasks:
You work on questions regarding collaboration and process design and/or around information modeling and management in applied research and development in the field of digital construction. You operate at the interface between digitization, work and organizational psychology, and construction-related disciplines, always at the cutting edge. You take on the following tasks:
- Analysis of technical requirements and complex issues
- Development, implementation, and integration of innovative solution concepts
- Preparation and documentation of research results for professional publications, reports, and target group-oriented presentations
- Support in training or further education could be part of the tasks
The current research portfolio includes projects on: alliance model, digital building permit, system & process integration, digitization for circular construction. Furthermore, we focus on the question of how digital tools, e.g. AI applications or solutions for digital building permits, can be profitably implemented in new processes and forms of collaboration.
The position is initially limited to three years with the option of extension. A combination of the activity with the part-time MSc Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) study program is
possible.
Your profile:
You are interested in scientific work and are motivated to actively engage with new complex issues. In addition to your professional qualifications, you convince through a systematic, goal- and customer-oriented, responsible, and self-organized way of working as well as pronounced commitment and teamwork skills. You also bring the following:
- Completed studies (Bachelor or Master) in a construction-related discipline with interest in work and organizational psychology
- Basic knowledge in collaboration and process design
- Basic knowledge in Python as well as strong interest in digital solutions for the construction industry
- Fluent German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
