To strengthen our team in the Data Center area in the Bern region, we are looking for a service-oriented and committed Service Engineer Electrical (a).
In this exciting and versatile role, you are responsible for the smooth operation of the building technology in the assigned critical infrastructures / data centers with an availability of at least 99.95%.
Your main tasks:
- Compliance with legal requirements, customer-specified services in the service contract, and adherence to manufacturer specifications (maintenance and inspections)
- Inspection rounds in the buildings (rounds, readings, inspections)
- Conducting fault analyses, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Providing on-call duty and standby services after the probation period (365 / 24h)
- Leading and controlling smaller new construction, conversion, expansion, and renovation projects (including budgets)
- Preparing offers, specifications, tenders together with the supervisor, working out credit applications and project proposals
- Responsible for the current technical documentation of the systems (functional descriptions, plans, schematics, interface lists, etc.)
- Timely processing and managing order management (emails, ticketing, maintenance planning, and self-assessment)
Your profile:
- Completed basic technical training (e.g., Electrical Installer EFZ)
- Further training in the electrical field (FA Electrical Project Manager, Dipl. Electrical Installation and Safety Expert, federally certified Electrical Installer)
- Several years of experience in a comparable position
- Working under voltage 2 (AuS2) / switching authorization (QSB)
- Authorization according to Art. NIV 15 and qualification for switching authorization available or willingness to obtain it
- High technical and commercial affinity, pronounced customer orientation, and analytical thinking
- Very good German skills (spoken/written), basic knowledge of English
- Very good Microsoft Office skills
- Driver's license category B (mandatory) and impeccable reputation
