Agricultural Tax Commissioner
Tax Administration (Commissioner Section) | Department of Finance and Municipalities | 40–100 % | Chur, alternatively Ilanz or Samedan
The Cantonal Tax Administration is responsible for collecting direct taxes in the Canton of Graubünden, insofar as the legislation does not provide for competence of the Confederation or the municipalities. The commissioner taxes income and wealth tax of individuals (federal direct tax and cantonal tax).
The Tax Administration offers you an immediate or agreed start date with a comprehensive introduction to a challenging activity and a collegial working atmosphere.
Tasks
- Examination and calculation of tax factors for income and wealth taxes of self-employed workers in the agricultural sector based on tax returns
- Audits in the agricultural sector
- Written, telephone and personal communication with taxpayers or their representatives
- Decision-making on appeals and representation of the Tax Administration in appeal proceedings before the court
What we expect from you
- Several years of professional experience, preferably in accounting, fiduciary and/or tax sectors
- Higher education in the agricultural sector or higher education in business administration with experience in the agricultural sector
- Insightfulness
- Proficiency in spoken and written German; knowledge of Italian and/or Romansh is an advantage
- Determination
- Negotiation skills and assertiveness, good manners and self-confidence
- Professional commitment and willingness to pursue continuing education
- Ability to handle large workloads, organised and able to work in a team, very discreet and reliable
