From diagnosis to test drive – for smooth railway operations.

To complete our workshop team of the Limmattal Railway, we are looking for a committed personality as an Automation Technician (m/f/d) 80-100% for the Dietikon location immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

You diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on rail vehicles
You perform electrical as well as mechanical maintenance, conversions, and overhauls on rail vehicles
You contribute to the documentation of maintenance
You carry out shunting movements and test drives as a locomotive driver B80
You alternate with your team colleagues on on-call duties (approx. every 5 - 6 weeks)

Your profile

EFZ certificate of competence (Automation Technician, Vehicle Diagnostician, or comparable professional training)
Affinity for IT applications and computer-aided diagnostics
Very good German skills in spoken and written form
High standards for your own work quality, high reliability as well as a sense of responsibility and safety awareness
Category B driving license and residence in the surrounding area (max. 50 minutes commute)
Willingness to train as a locomotive driver Cat. B80
