What you can look forward to.
As a Kaizen organisation, affiliated with the maintenance of rolling stock, you are an important support for the divisions "Market Passenger Transport" and "Production Passenger Transport". With methods and coaching for continuous and sustainable improvement throughout the entire value chain, you make a significant contribution to increasing safety, quality and efficiency. Your contractual workplace is the Basel service facility, but you are also regularly deployed in other service facilities such as Lucerne and Brig. We work process-oriented and develop workflows, products and services together with our employees. You can expect an innovative working environment where you can implement major changes and thus make a decisive contribution to increasing the efficiency of the SBB.
What you can achieve.
- You independently plan and conduct Kaizen workshops. With skilled moderation techniques, an exciting workshop structure and the application of your Kaizen toolbox, you motivate participants to achieve sustainable solutions.
- By conducting training sessions, you enable managers and employees to independently identify improvement potentials and realise the planned changes using Kaizen methods and tools.
- As a sparring partner, you advise and support organisations with the aim of increasing productivity and sustainably implementing Kaizen measures.
- You carry out goal-oriented Kaizen activities according to requirements, check sustainability and prepare regular reports. In addition, you perform administrative tasks such as creating weekly plans and efficiency controls.
What you bring with you.
- As a convincing personality and team player with good written and oral communication skills, you inspire others for common goals and solutions and drive their implementation forward.
- You have sound knowledge in the field of Kaizen or related continuous improvement philosophies (e.g. Lean Management or Six Sigma) and practical experience in conducting Kaizen workshops.
- Your holistic way of thinking, pronounced analytical and conceptual skills as well as a high process understanding distinguish you.
- We require a technical or business education at HF level (e.g. operational technology or business processes). Ideally, you have completed additional training in process management or Lean Management.
- For this position, you have negotiation-level spoken and written German skills.
Your salary and benefits.
We have a fair and progressive salary system and actively promote pay equality. Therefore, further and detailed information about the salary system at SBB is transparently available. This position is at requirement level I, regional allowance level 1. More about salary and benefits .
