What you can achieve

You will take on monitoring regarding policy and technologies related to harmful information in the humanitarian sector and beyond. Additionally, you ensure knowledge transfer to the Hub team

You identify opportunities for research and partnerships

You ensure coherence between the Hub’s activities and current policy within the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement:

Preparation of ideas, activities, and initiatives into transferable concepts and measures

Ensuring the alignment of the Hub’s activities with current policy

You manage the establishment and maintenance of a network of relevant actors who further develop policy in the area of harmful information. The goal is to maintain an overview of current developments in this field

You conduct research and draft informational letters
What you bring
- University degree in international relations, political science, law, or a related field. Additional specialisation in international humanitarian law (IHL) or specific training related to the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement is an advantage
- At least 10 years of professional experience in international relations, politics, or diplomacy
- Knowledge in policy analysis, editorial skills
- A flair for building and maintaining networks with diverse partners
- Experience in project management
- Excellent knowledge of English as well as German or French (C1+), other languages (Spanish, Arabic) are an advantage
