DevOps Engineer Governance & Compliance (m/f/d)

In this newly created, central role at the heart of IT, you will take on a key position for governance and compliance in software development. You will ensure that our requirements are not only defined but also lived in everyday practice, thereby creating concrete added value for the entire organisation.

• Establish control functions by developing an application that automatically checks compliance with software development requirements as much as possible 
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal developer guidelines (e.g. secure coding, cryptography, testing, open-source usage) and ensure adherence to overarching IT security requirements in the areas of security governance and architecture 
• Provide deviations and findings via APIs for further processing in the risk department 
• Work closely with departments and committees that define overarching requirements, derive new or adjusted requirements from them, and contribute to the further development and sharpening of these requirements with your practical experience 
• Support the "Exception to Policy" (ETP) process for the respective department with the overarching requirements
• Create solution architecture blueprints and actively accompany the implementation of solutions

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification 
• Several years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: software development, IT architecture, IT security, ideally in the banking or financial sector
• Solid knowledge in full-stack development (Java, Angular), as well as a deep understanding of modern software development processes (CI/CD, DevSecOps) and architectures 
• Experience with code scanning tools (SAST, SCA), as well as in AI, prompting, and AI-based application development is an advantage 
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills to understand complex issues 
• High communication skills, persuasiveness, and the necessary assertiveness to represent even unpopular decisions 
• An independent, structured, and very responsible working style with a high degree of integrity and objectivity 
• Fluent German and good English skills
