Your new role

As a facility maintenance specialist with a specialisation in municipal services, you are responsible for the care, maintenance and upkeep of the city infrastructure. You mainly work outdoors and contribute to ensuring that roads, squares, green spaces and other public facilities are always ready for use and safe.

You operate machines, maintain equipment and vehicles, and carry out minor repairs on facilities and infrastructure. You work in a versatile manner, support construction projects, perform maintenance tasks and ensure that materials are disposed of properly. Your workplace is varied – from roads and squares to green areas and city construction sites.

Your tasks

• Care and maintenance of roads, squares and public facilities
• Operation and maintenance of machines and vehicles
• Carrying out repairs on city infrastructure
• Assisting with construction and maintenance projects
• Disposal of materials and waste
• Ensuring the functionality of city infrastructure

Fair remuneration

1st year of apprenticeship: CHF 770.–

2nd year of apprenticeship: CHF 980.–
