For our construction site in Ligerz as well as other exciting tunnel construction projects, we are looking for you as our new Foreman 100%.
Your responsibilities
• Ensuring the professional execution of work on site at the construction site
• Ensuring task-related work preparation
• Ensuring the implementation of safety regulations and rules
• Responsibility for reporting: daily and hourly reports
• Planning and coordination of personnel, equipment and materials according to requirements
• Implementation of specifications regarding quality, deadlines and environmental protection
• Close cooperation with the responsible site manager to ensure smooth operations
Why you will succeed
• Successful completion of training as a foreman or several years of practical experience in underground construction
• Proven leadership experience and the ability to motivate employees successfully
• Strong flexibility, excellent team player profile, resilient and continuously striving for outstanding performance
• Solid knowledge in the use of IT programmes
• Experience in tunnel surveying and handling of theodolites
• Possession of a blasting certificate of categories B or C
• Willingness to work at various locations
• Good knowledge of German or French is required, with spoken Italian being an advantage
