To complete the teams of the Oncology and Hematology Outpatient Clinics of the Oncology Institute of Italian Switzerland (locations in Bellinzona, Lugano, Locarno, Mendrisio) we are looking for
Medical Practice Assistants (50%-100%)
Profile:
The resources will be integrated within the Oncology and Hematology Outpatient Clinics with clinical and administrative duties, in particular:
- triage activities for incoming patients (collecting vital signs, brief clinical questions, symptom detection);
- performing venous blood draws, preparing samples for sending to laboratories;
- welcoming patients, managing the medical schedule, bookings and appointment organization;
- administrative management of the outpatient clinic (archiving clinical documents, managing phone calls and emails).
Necessary requirements:
We are looking for professionals who, in line with our principles, place the patient at the center of daily attention and responsibility. Experience in a hospital setting and knowledge of a second national language, spoken and written, are preferred qualifications.
