ICT Organisation Project Manager 80 - 100%The Department of Economic Affairs of the Canton of Zurich (www.vd.zh.ch) includes the Office for Labour, the Office for Economic Affairs, the Office for Mobility as well as administratively the Zurich Transport Network (ZVV). The General Secretariat is the staff unit of the Director and the service centre of the Directorate.
The Digital Transformation & Business Services department, as part of the General Secretariat, supports the digital transformation in the Department of Economic Affairs. It provides central services, supports the administrative units with expert knowledge and represents the interests of the Directorate in cross-directorate committees.
For the implementation of a project to transform central ICT processes and structures, we are looking for an experienced project manager immediately or by agreement, limited to two years. In this role, you will lead the project and coordinate the associated development and structuring work. You bring stakeholders together, create clarity and ensure successful implementation. In addition, you support other ICT projects methodically and contribute to the development of the ICT roadmap.
Your tasks:
- Leading the implementation of the project to transform the ICT organisation as well as the associated changes, development and structuring work
- Planning, controlling and prioritising work packages as well as defining and coordinating them with the project team
- Participating in selected work packages as well as preparing and moderating workshops
- Achieving viable decisions and ensuring the quality, consistency and feasibility of project results
- Proactive risk, schedule and stakeholder management as well as reporting to the client
- Collaborating with responsible persons in the development and structuring of the ICT roadmap
Your profile:
- Several years of experience in managing and controlling complex IT, digitalisation or organisational projects
- Sound knowledge of project management methods as well as experience in structuring and implementing demanding projects
- Good understanding of ICT topics and their organisational contexts
- Experience in change processes as well as in building and further developing organisations and structures
- Strong moderation, communication and negotiation skills as well as a confident manner with different stakeholders
- Analytical and conceptual strength as well as the ability to quickly grasp complex topics and prepare them clearly
