Real Estate Management Assistant, Caretaker

As the reference service in construction matters, the Building Office represents the interests of the Canton of Graubünden as a property owner and/or client and is responsible for all real estate management services. Its tasks include structuring the real estate portfolio, planning, construction, and management of properties, as well as advisory activities.
For April 1, 2026, or by agreement, we are looking for a real estate management assistant, caretaker.
As a real estate management assistant, caretaker, you will find an open working environment in a central location in Chur, interesting opportunities for professional development, and some flexibility to balance work, family, and leisure time.
- Responsibility for monitoring, inspecting, and maintaining technical building systems in the electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and sanitary sectors to ensure optimal maintenance, care, and operation
- Identifying and eliminating deficiencies as well as performing minor repairs
- Proper maintenance and care of the building fabric and external facilities, including snow removal
- Responsibility for cleaning buildings and facilities, including surrounding areas
- Professional instruction and execution of cleaning work within the cleaning service as well as management of cleaning staff directly subordinate in human, professional, and organizational terms
- Direct contact person for cantonal administration employees and craftsmen; for handling requests and inquiries as well as coordinating necessary steps to resolve issues
- Completed training in a craft or technical field
- Professional development as a caretaker with a federal professional certificate or willingness to obtain such a diploma
- Strong sense of responsibility and high quality awareness
- Willingness to provide support in case of technical interventions
- Interdisciplinary thinking and an independent, solution-oriented working method
- Good computer skills
