For the Department of Permits & Supervision at the Office of Health, we are looking for a Specialist in Operational Permits, 80-90%, to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks
You will process comprehensive and complex permit and approval applications from various healthcare institutions such as homes, hospitals, or medical practices. In addition, you assist with the supervision of healthcare professionals and healthcare institutions, including accompanying on-site inspections. You will work closely with the Legal Department and the Cantonal Medical Service.
Your profile
We are seeking an initiative and committed individual who has several years of current professional experience as a nursing specialist in the long-term care sector (nursing home or home care). You also bring experience in duty roster design and personnel planning, ideally complemented by knowledge of the RAI system (Resident Assessment Instrument). You have a strong understanding of the Swiss healthcare system and its education system and hold a tertiary-level qualification (A or B). Ideally, you also have commercial work experience. Your strengths include a confident manner and skill in oral and written communication. You have a quick grasp, think holistically, and can approach complex matters in a structured, solution-oriented, and goal-directed manner. You are known for an analytical, goal-oriented, efficient, and structured working style. You are trustworthy and willing to deliver above-average performance for our clients.
