Head of Firefighting Water Supply

About the job

Due to a retirement effective 1 January 2027 or by arrangement, we are seeking a committed reinforcement for our team in the firefighting water supply sector!

This role offers an interesting and varied range of tasks

• You will lead the firefighting water supply department and be responsible for the design, coordination and assurance of an efficient and sustainable firefighting water supply
• You will review and process contribution applications, draft orders and assurances for authorities, and comment on building applications as well as building insurances for properties
• You will provide information to building authorities, official offices and private individuals and maintain professional, solution-oriented correspondence
• You will ensure reliable business control, handle administrative tasks and prepare meaningful statistics

Your profile

• You ideally hold a higher qualification in mechanical engineering or civil engineering or have completed further training as a building manager or HF technician
• You can also demonstrate sound knowledge in hydraulics or water pipeline construction, e.g. with experience as a well master
• You think in a networked way, act independently and keep an overview even in demanding situations
• You are customer-oriented, communicate confidently in German and enjoy continuous professional development
