The Regional Court Plessur is a court of first instance for civil and criminal matters based in Chur. It also includes the cantonal enforcement court as well as the mediation office with the conciliation authority for rental matters in the Plessur region. The caseload is approximately 2,200 cases per year (including cases of the enforcement court). The registry currently consists of eight people and 680 full-time equivalents and carries a significant part of the caseload.
We are looking for a lawyer as court clerk for the Regional Court Plessur from 1 December 2026 or by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility
- Legal clarifications in civil and criminal law
- Support of judges in case management
- Taking minutes in court hearings and evidence collection
- Drafting decisions, judgments, rulings and orders
- Other tasks arise from the Court Organisation Act (BR 173.000)
What we expect from you
- Completed law degree in Switzerland, preferably with a lawyer's licence
- Practical experience, ideally at a court, in a law firm or in public administration
- Structured, forward-looking, independent and precise way of working
- Team-oriented, reliable and resilient personality.
