Our client is an internationally leading technology company in the field of highly secure optical systems. With innovative solutions, state-of-the-art production technology and the highest quality standards, the company sets benchmarks worldwide in its market segment.
To strengthen the Production Support department, we are looking for a technically skilled, reliable and independent individual who enjoys keeping production facilities running, co-designing technical projects and taking responsibility for operational maintenance.
Your role
In this versatile role, you ensure that the production facilities operate reliably and safely. You undertake maintenance, servicing and repair work, analyse faults and, together with internal specialist departments, ensure smooth operation of the systems. Furthermore, you participate in technical projects as well as in the optimisation and further development of existing systems. You act independently and solution-oriented and are an important contact person for electrical engineering issues in the production environment.
Your tasks
- Maintenance and servicing of production facilities
- Independent analysis and rectification of faults
- Carrying out repairs on machines and systems
- Timely processing of repair orders
- Participation in technical projects as well as in the optimisation and further development of production facilities
- Support in planning, coordinating and implementing conversions and new installations
- Supervision and accompaniment of the high-voltage inspector during periodic inspections
- Standard-compliant execution of device tests
- Support with electrical engineering questions in the field of machine and plant construction
- Willingness to take on on-call duty for about six to eight weeks per year
Your profile
- Completed technical basic training as an electrical installer EFZ, automation technician EFZ or a comparable electrical engineering qualification
- Professional experience in maintenance and/or plant construction
- Authorisation as an operational electrician according to NIV Art. 13 or willingness to obtain it
- Good knowledge and a pronounced technical understanding of machines, systems and industrial production processes
- Interest in technical projects and in the further development of existing systems
- Knowledge of SPS-S7 programming is an advantage
- German as mother tongue
- Independent, responsible and reliable working style
- Good analytical skills and enjoyment in systematically solving technical problems
- Trustworthy and team-oriented personality with a high willingness to learn
What to expect
You can expect a collegial and supportive team with high expertise, where collaboration and mutual support are a matter of course. You work in a modern infrastructure and take responsibility for technologically demanding production facilities. In addition to ongoing maintenance, you have the opportunity to actively contribute to technical projects, system optimisations and operational developments. Targeted training offers sustainably promote your professional and personal development.
Your workplace is located in Zug, centrally situated and easily accessible. At the same time, you will become part of a stable yet dynamic company with an international orientation, offering attractive employment conditions and a performance-based salary package.
You enjoy being close to technology, prefer to find faults rather than just manage them, and want to take responsibility both in maintenance and in technical projects?
We would be happy to give you further insights into the role, the technical environment and the company in a personal conversation.
