Eben-Hézer Lausanne has been welcoming and supporting people with intellectual disabilities for 125 years. It promotes a positive view of people with disabilities and puts its skills at the service of their participation and inclusion in society. Eben-Hézer Lausanne is part of the Eben-Hézer Foundation, a private non-profit organization recognized as being of public interest.
In order to complete the educational team of the AKENE group, a living place for 8 residents affected by behavioral disorders, ASD, and associated mental health issues, we are looking for a graduated social educator (M/F) at a workload of 60%-70%.
Mission
You actively contribute to the well-being of the residents and ensure them the greatest possible autonomy in their journey. You guarantee daily educational support. You aim to increase and maintain their skills and support them in their social and institutional integration. This mission is carried out in a multidisciplinary team and in active collaboration with the social network.
Responsibilities
Design and implement individual and collective socio-educational support
Develop educational strategies tailored to the needs of the residents
Work in an interdisciplinary manner to address complex and heterogeneous issues
Encourage the integration of family and relatives in the development and monitoring of the individual project
Collaborate actively with internal and external networks
Provide assistance to residents in basic care
Ensure administrative tasks related to the team and residents
Desired Profile
Diploma in social education CFC ASE / ASSC, ES or HES
Ease in teamwork and communication, organization, and task sharing; reliability
Interest in following individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder - ASD
Interest in network work and supporting families of people with disabilities
Strong motivation for developing new educational actions
Good knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office programs
Driving license preferred

Irregular hours, weekend work according to shifts.
