Accountant / Controller (m/f/d) 40-60%

Your tasks

• Responsibility for financial accounting including general and subsidiary ledgers
• Accounts payable and receivable management
• Responsibility for preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as preparing and declaring VAT returns
• Liquidity planning and cash flow management
• Preparation of evaluations, key figures and reports for management
• Building a meaningful KPI cockpit and further developing management reporting
• Visualisation and analysis of company key figures with Power BI
• Support with budgeting, forecasts and controlling tasks
• Analysis of financial developments and deriving recommendations for action
• Optimisation and further development of processes in the finance area
• Collaboration with trustees, auditors and external partners

Your profile

• Commercial basic training with further education in finance and accounting or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in accounting and/or controlling
• Very good numerical understanding as well as analytical and interconnected thinking
• Experience in reporting, KPI management or business intelligence is an advantage
• Knowledge of Power BI is desirable
• Independent, precise and structured way of working
• High initiative and sense of responsibility
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel and common Microsoft 365 applications
• Confident German language skills, additional language skills are an advantage
